The Opening Session begins at 8:30 a.m. Although you will not see registration for the Opening Session in Sched, attendance is required. Opening Sessions will be held at these locations:
Aiken High School: Grades PK to 2nd - Gymnasium (park in the football parking lot)
Aiken High School: Grades 3rd to 5th - Cafeteria (park in the main parking lots)
This session is for participants who have already attended an initial Exact Path training. At the end of this session, participants will be able to use this online standards based program that provides an individualized learning path for students in grades 2nd-8th grade in the content subject areas of Mathematics and Reading. Participants will leave from the session being able to see how Edmentum' s Exact Path is highly focused on understanding where your students are academically, identifying strengths and weakness for each student, and then taking that data a step further to offer targeted instruction that is aligned to your goals, paced to your students' needs, and structured to give students control over their own education journey. Participants will leave from the session being able to know a students' strengths and areas of growth based on a students individualized learning path(s) while being able to provide individualized support to improve student outcomes.
