ACPSD Empowering Educators (E2) 2018 has ended
Empowering Educators (E2) Conference sites:
  • Pre-K to 5th - Aiken High School
  • 6th to 8th - Leavelle McCampbell Middle School
  • 9th to 12th - North Augusta High School

The Opening Session begins at 8:30 a.m.  Although you will not see registration for the Opening Session in Sched, attendance is required. Opening Sessions will be held at these locations:
  • Aiken High School: Grades PK to 2nd - Gymnasium (park in the football parking lot)
  • Aiken High School: Grades 3rd to 5th - Cafeteria (park in the main parking lots)
  • Leavelle McCampbell Middle School: Cafeteria
  • North Augusta High School: Cafeteria

Measures of adolescents' reading achievement and comprehension continue to decline nationally, but some of our high school students are disrupting that trend. The stories of adolescents who began high school reading on grade level or higher and continued to make gains give us insight on how to help more students make these kinds of strides.
